Saint Laurent's NSFW Takeover at Colette

Since colette – Karl Lagerfeld’s favorite boutique – announced in July that it would be closing it doors after 20 years, we have been struggling to imagine life without it. Intent on going out with a bang, it has been collaborating with some of its favorite brands – the recent Chanel takeover saw a pair of Pharrell-designed adidas collab trainers that are rumored to resell at £30k.

Before the official closure on December 20, the Parisian boutique has announced that Saint Laurent will be the last brand to take over the store space. With the pop-up opening today, the collection includes literally everything you could ever want from Pierre Marcolini chocolates and Patti Smith hoodies to a custom Polaroid camera and a skateboard printed with that banned campaign. Not to mention a couple of chic YSL-branded paddles that are absolutely not sex toys. But the pièce de résistance? An all-black YSL Vespa. Now officially the only way to get around.

Everything from the collection will be signed by creative director Anthony Vaccarello, making each piece a real collector’s item. And you don’t need to worry if you can’t make it to Paris as the collection is also available online. Since it is rumored that Saint Laurent will be permanently moving into the space when the boutique closes, it seems like a fitting way to say goodbye.

Saint Laurent’s residency will run from today until December 20 in store at colette, 213 rue Saint-Honoré, Paris and will be available online.
